Adoption Sunday!

WOW! What a night! We had our Combined Worship Service tonight! It was incredible. Our special offering went to the church's adoption fund (to assist people with matching grants or no-interest loans). We also had a project called "Give Dignity" to provide bags of essentials for foster children in Kentucky who are removed from their homes quickly. As you can see in the pictures, we had a huge response! I love our church. I just cry every time I think of the generosity of our congregation. It is incredible! During the service, many of our adopted children went up on stage holding their country flag and sang "Jesus Loves Me" with the congregation. Absolutely adorable! We also sang "There are No Orphans of God." It was spectacular. I can't say enough how blessed we are to belong to such a wonderful church.
