Can you believe that she is 14!!! I love the way our kids love to do their birthdays. A day out with a friend (today was Mexican and then off to paint pottery, which could be my new favorite thing to do). Then home for a special dinner and dessert. Is it weird that our kids don't really want a "Happy Birthday Cake" for their celebrations. Our chef wanted a lemon meringue pie! Wouldn't Granny be proud???
Notice that I never have the right amount of candles in the house. On "A's" birthday, I only had one. Oh well, it's the thought that counts, right??? As you can see in one of the pics, K was not amused by her Daddy's antics.
