Today, we decided to carve a pumpkin and roast the seeds. Knowing that this must be a "first" for Little J, we had the camera on hand. While we were digging out the gushy stuff, Little J informed us that in Awassa, he and his birthmom used to cut a pumpkin and eat it! I am thinking to myself...."how did you roast the seeds? you didn't have electricity?" Yes, the blonde in my hair (though paid for) is coming through.....
Apparently (and he ate it to prove it to us)....he ate the inside of a pumpkin (raw). Not the gushy part, but the flesh inside the pumpkin. Little J munched right down and had a wonderful little snack with his pumpkin. Sounds like instead of him having a "first" the rest of us did!

Isn't it so much fun to see how the Lord blesses us and teaches us through our children. Looks like you all had a ton of fun.
