After surgery last week, my sweet hubby is recovering quite nicely. We actually ate Mexican today and he make it great! On Wednesday, I got sick! Yuck! It lasted a couple of days....then we were off to Gatlinburg for David's annual staff retreat. We had 60 people (only 32 were adults!) in three cabins. Lots of food, cards, and hanging out was had.
We returned today to basketball practice and meetings at church. I can honestly say that I am ready for school tomorrow (although instead of blogging, I should be printing lesson plans).
Upon arriving home, I had multiple e-mails from couples who are ready to start the adoption process. Our LifeGroup at church called "Considering Adoption" will be starting soon. I'm so excited to see what the Lord does in our church! With our leadership at church not only supporting, but living adoption in their homes, God is blowing open the excitement factor in so many families! I love it!!
Thanks for praying for D this week. I am so grateful for quick recovery, and most grateful to the Lord for giving me such a strong man to lead our home.

you are in trouble...mom is SO mad at you! I suggest you keep your poisoning to yourself next time. Glad you are feeling better, though :)
