Happy 11th Birthday M!

It is so hard to believe that M has been home for four years. Yesterday she had a giant surprise! Tita Deanna called to wish her a Happy Birthday! She was so excited! In addition to that, her friend J was with her and also got to talk to Tita :) M was so excited to hear from her. She has been wanting a desk for her sewing machine and Granddaddy and Mommer had one in their shed that belonged to Mommer's parents, so they sent it home with David since he was down at J. Creek. We will get to paint it this weekend and have it ready for her room! We were reminiscing this morning about her first birthday in the States. It looked like something pink had exploded in our kitchen....a pink bike, a pink helmet, a pink shirt. I'll have to round up those pictures off David's computer and post them here later. She has grown so much, but is just as sweet today as she was the day she became a Melber. Much love, sweetie.
Here is the loot from the morning. Besides the surprise free desk.....adobo cracker nuts, milk cookies and shrimp fries from the Philippine grocery store (yum, yum), yarn for crocheting and knitting, fabric and two new patterns (one for a dress and one for purses and pillows). She was excited!
