M and K are working on something to enter into the State Fair at the end of the summer. K is working on mastering her culinary skills and M is sewing up a storm! This is the beginning of a summer dress that she worked on today. She even added a zipper! Holy cow! She got good grandmother genes from both our moms (through osmosis, of course). Thank goodness....cause she didn't get those skills from me (sadly). She's going to make pillows for both her and K's rooms as well. For those of you who have sons, we will gladly accept applications for their hands in marriage in about 20 years. We are arranging those....lol....and we'll let you know if you qualify in the top ten. They will make wonderful wives and moms someday!

Great job! Our Rachel wants to sew, but I have so little extra time these days, I am selfish enough to want that time for my own sewing. Maybe this summer we can have some lessons.
