Special Adoption Event

Saturday June 5th, from 10:00 a.m. - noon, at Highview's East Campus, in the Greenhouse (for those of you who are unfamiliar with East campus, it is a separate building to the right of the main sanctuary as you face the church). Please note this location change from our previous meetings.

Tara VanderWoude, a Korean adoptee, adoptive mother, and colleaugue of mine from Bethany Christian Services, will be presenting "What Transracially Adopted Children Need from Their Parents." Discover 20 ways to support and celebrate your child’s identity! Tara brings a unique perspective as an adoption professional who grew up in a transracial family. She travels and speaks throughout the region on various adoption-related topics, and has served as a leader for the Korea Ties homeland tours program. This is one meeting you won't want to miss!

Please help spread the word to any local adoption groups, families, and friends. We look forward to seeing you on Saturday, June 5th, at 10 a.m. The East campus is located at 15201 Shelbyville Road in Louisville.
