Daddy is back in America!!!

Thanks for all who have been praying for Dad while he has been away. He had a productive and great trip and landed on US soil just about 30 minutes ago. He does still have one more flight before we see his sweet face, but at least we know he made his longest leg well. All of the hurricane activity in the Atlantic served to their advantage as they made it to the US one hour early :)

Aside from eating traditional Zambian caterpillars and whole minnows, Dad was glad to be there. He saw so much difficulty and hardship. Two of the little girls from the school lost their mother to AIDS while he was there. The girls have no one to care for them and will be one of the many child-led households. Their vulnerability increases exponentially. Their grief is evident to all, yet holds such commonality to those who live around them. Dad commented on why Africa is called the "dark continent." The spiritual darkness and strongholds are evident and ever-present.

Pray to see what God would have you do for the widow and orphaned and sick in Zambia and on the continent of Africa. Sadly, the scene is all too common in so many places there.
